accessibility: informational instagram posts
description of the project
I have created a series of six informational posts for Instagram. The posts inform viewers about everything hawaii. In order for the posts to be accessible for all, there are some nencessary principles to be implemented. They need to be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. Each post was made to be accessible for those with color blindness protanopia or deuteranopia type.

I've learned that color is a essential for accessibility. Finding the right colors that work with each other and offer enough contrast for someone with color blindness was difficult. I spent a long time changing colors around and then testing them on various websites to ensure that they would offer accessibility. Also, a neat tool was the proof setup tool in Photoshop to easily view the artboards in the different color blindness types.
From previous modules, learning that readability is how the reader reads the entirety of the document, I completed this series with that in mind. With posts on Instagram being small on a phone, my initial posts prior to the WIP were not readable. After receiving the feedback, I had chosen a thicker font, so the reader can read easier on the patterned background.
